Carole Aufranc is a Swiss illustrator based above the Lake of Geneva. After a Bachelor in Illustration, she specialized herself with a Master in Children's Book Illustration at the School of Art of Cambridge.

 

She creates work for all kind of supports such as packaging, textiles, advertisements or children's books. Her illustrations are realised with a mixed technique combining papercuts and collages. She loves to play with colors, bold shapes and textures resulting in a style that has been described as bright yet elegant and graphic. She developped her craft over the years, drawing inspiration especially from her love for the fauna and the flora, folk aesthetics and vintage art.
